The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is an immigration program that allows the province of Saskatchewan to nominate individuals who have the skills, education, and work experience needed to contribute to the province’s economy and society. The program is designed to support the province’s labour market and address specific economic needs and priorities.

The SINP has several streams for immigration:

1.International Skilled Worker Category:
This category is for skilled workers who want to live and work in Saskatchewan. It has three sub-categories:
Occupation In-Demand:
For workers who have work experience in an occupation that is in-demand in Saskatchewan and who meet other eligibility criteria.
Express Entry:
For candidates who are already in the federal government’s Express Entry pool and who meet the requirements of one of SINP’s Express Entry streams: the Occupation In-Demand sub-category or the Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category.
Saskatchewan Express Entry:
For candidates who are already in the federal government’s Express Entry pool, have work experience in an occupation that is in demand in Saskatchewan, and meet other eligibility criteria.
2. Saskatchewan Experience Category:
  1. This category is designed for foreign workers who are already living and working in Saskatchewan and have obtained work experience in the province. The SINP Saskatchewan Experience Category has three sub-categories:
  2. Existing Work Permit Sub-Category: This sub-category is for foreign workers who have been working in Saskatchewan for at least six months on a valid work permit. To be eligible, applicants must have a permanent, full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer in a skilled occupation that is classified as NOC skill level 0, A, or B.
  3. Health Professionals Sub-Category: This sub-category is for foreign-trained health professionals who have been working in Saskatchewan for at least six months on a valid work permit. To be eligible, applicants must have a permanent, full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer in a regulated healthcare profession such as physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
  4. Hospitality Sector Project Sub-Category: This sub-category is for foreign workers who have been working in Saskatchewan for at least six months in the hospitality sector on a valid work permit. To be eligible, applicants must have a permanent, full-time job offer from a Saskatchewan employer in an eligible occupation in the hospitality sector.
3.Entrepreneur and Farm Category:
This category is for entrepreneurs and farmers who want to start or buy a business in Saskatchewan. It has two subcategories:
  1. Entrepreneur Subcategory: For individuals who want to start or buy a business in Saskatchewan and who meet the other eligibility requirements. Applicants must have a minimum net worth of CAD 500,000 and be willing to invest at least CAD 300,000 in the business.
  2. Farm Owner/Operator Subcategory: For individuals who want to buy and operate a farm in Saskatchewan and who meet the other eligibility requirements. Applicants must have a minimum net worth of CAD 500,000 and be willing to invest at least CAD 300,000 in the farm.
