The Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) is a provincial immigration program operated by the government of Yukon in Canada. The program is designed to attract and retain skilled foreign workers who have the education, work experience, and language skills needed to contribute to Yukon’s economy.

The Yukon Nominee Program (YNP) has different streams.

    • Yukon Express Entry (YEE) Stream:

This stream is for skilled workers who are already in the federal Express Entry pool and want to live and work in Yukon. Candidates must have an active Express Entry profile and be eligible for at least one of the federal economic immigration programs such as the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, or Canadian Experience Class. Candidates must also meet the eligibility requirements for the YEE stream and obtain a nomination from the Yukon government.

    • Skilled Worker Stream:

This stream is for skilled workers who have a job offer from a Yukon employer in an eligible occupation. Candidates must have a job offer from a Yukon employer, meet the eligibility requirements for the Skilled Worker stream, and obtain a nomination from the Yukon government.

    • Critical Impact Worker Stream:

This stream is for semi-skilled or unskilled workers who have a job offer from a Yukon employer in an eligible occupation. Candidates must have worked for the employer for at least six months and meet the eligibility requirements for the Critical Impact Worker stream. This stream is designed for workers who are already living and working in Yukon.

    • Business Nominee Stream:

This stream is for individuals who want to invest in and run a business in Yukon. Candidates must have a minimum net worth of CAD 500,000 and make an exploratory visit to Yukon to develop a business plan. Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements for the Business Nominee stream, submit a business plan, and obtain a nomination from the Yukon government.

    • Community Pilot Program:

This stream is designed to address labour shortages in smaller communities in Yukon. It is for skilled workers who have a job offer from a designated employer in a participating community. Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements for the Community Pilot Program and obtain a nomination from the Yukon government.
